Starting Day 2 in Stanton

Slow start to our day with mechanical issues... Evan has a slow leak in his tire and is currently waiting in line @ the bike shop. To complicate matters we weren't able to fuel up at our morning coffee and bagel stop! Hopefully the day will get better through the 72 miles and 5000 feet of climb.

Recap of yesterday:
56 miles a little over 2000 feet of climb. Best rhubarb pie and homemade ice cream ever in Emerson. After the ride we sat in the shade, enjoyed some Boulevard beer and plotted as to how we could get a deluxe motorhome for next years ride. Showers (in a trailer) courtesy of the Shower guys (no line for the ladies!) And delicious pork tenderloin dinner thanks to St. Mary's Catholic church. There was also a band playing at our campsite. Kristin saw an old friend from high school. Karla ran into an old college friend she hadn't seen in 10 years in the kybo line. Everyone had a good nights' sleep.
