...Have found one of our favorite signs "Family Beer Turn Here ->"
...Got completely lost trying to find long-term parking and turned around in parking lots TWICE despite the fact that we'd driven by it last night so we'd know where it was AND that Moo was using Google Maps on Oink's blackberry (thank goodness we can just follow people on the RAGBRAI route).
..Heard someone say this morning "Is it light out enough yet to open our beer?"
...Made friends with a wonderful couple from Kentucky who gave Oink a ride back to the parking lot to get our snacks and cell phone out of our car - the Stranger Danger rule does not apply on RAGBRAI. (So glad we didn't leave bananas in the car for the week!)
...Actually left early enough to allow for the 2nd trip back to the parking lot and still board buses 15 minutes early (we were employing the Judy-Lee-Airport-Strategy and it paid off!).
...Are wishing the guy sitting in front of us on the bus had at least started out the week showered.
...Confirmed once again we think the Brancel Charter folks are super nice and they even recycle! We are super excited about our new Charter service selection.
...Watched the RAGBRAI safety video so that we Ride Right!
